Circleblend Wireless Charger PC/ABS Alloy

Wireless chargers are becoming the mainstream choice for charging smart devices with the convenience of "getting rid of cables", and the safety and functionality of their shell materials are the core considerations of product design. Wireless charging is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, and the coils at the sending and receiving terminals are coupled with electromagnetic signals to achieve energy transmission, which requires the housing material to have sufficient insulation and play a key role in fire protection when the equipment is abnormally heated.

In view of the safety hazards of wireless chargers that may cause high temperature or even sparks due to internal component failures, the flame-retardant PC/ABS alloy material launched by Peter New Materials has become an ideal solution. Through the molecular grade blending of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), combined with a high-efficiency flame retardant system, this high-performance engineering plastic has the dual advantages of "safety protection performance adaptation": its flame retardant grade can reach UL94 V-0 level, which can quickly self-extinguish and inhibit the spread of flames in case of fire, and at the same time has a very low smoke emission (smoke density level ≤50) to avoid the release of toxic smoke in fire; In terms of high temperature resistance, the material has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 110-125°C, which can withstand the heat accumulation generated by the charger for a long time, ensure that the shell does not deform and melt, and maintain a safe operating environment for internal components.

From the perspective of engineering application, flame-retardant PC/ABS alloy also has excellent processing adaptability and mechanical properties: its melt fluidity is good (melt flow rate MFR up to 10-15g/10min), and complex shell structure can be molded through injection molding process to meet the design requirements of ultra-thin and special-shaped wireless chargers; At the same time, the impact strength of the material is ≥40kJ/m², and the stress cracking resistance is strong, and the structural integrity can be maintained even if it is subjected to accidental collisions or stress loads in long-term use. Through the precise control of the ratio of PC and ABS and the dispersion technology of flame retardant, this series of materials not only ensures safety performance, but also takes into account the appearance and texture (surface gloss ≥70GU) and environmental protection requirements (halogen-free flame retardant system meets RoHS standards), providing comprehensive support for the reliability and green design of wireless chargers.
